I had this on Christmas Day:
Laura, the kids and I were staying in a cabin on the side of a mountain. It was like we were camping.
It was the day for us to leave. There were lots of Bridgeway folks there, and the mountain was about to erupt.
I was working with Jack to get the car out of the garage w. He was driving. Jordan was in the passenger seat. We were backing out a bit and trying to catch up to our little dog who was running down the driveway. It was one of the ankle biters (not our real dog), and he ran up to the neighbors. I was getting fired up trying to catch him and get him back. We had to go.
The next thing that I know, John Ursich and I are headed up the mountain together. I was now driving. John and I we’re talking how you could not see the mountain from the dam from where we were. But, we could see the smoke.
We kept going, and soon we saw masses of people outside. They were on the balconies. It was like a resort town. They were in the streets. People were everywhere. And, they seemed oblivious to it all. Or were they there because of it all?
We could see the smoke billowing down the mountain, but I did not yet see the fire. A mighty eruption was just about to take place.
I woke up.
