When I started doing the taxes a couple of months ago, it became apparent that we owed around $30k.
So, I started praying for a big fish to come. Jesus had Peter go fishing, and the first fish that he caught had the coin in its mouth for him to go pay the taxes for himself and the LORD.
I told Laura that we needed a big fish to pay our taxes and started praying into that.
Caliber is not yet done. I dont have them as a client. So, I have RockPile at 18k for March and 14k for April. Funny, they paid me both invoices at the same time. God was moving.
I got called into a meeting for Caliber the first week of working with RockPile. During the meeting, Howard mentions a new project and starts talking about the details. He looks at me and tells me that it is separate from what I am doing and that the pricing would be worked out separately.
I hear “30,000”.
As I am driving home, I start the self negotiations. Maybe 30k is too high. 25k might be better. But, they run over on scope like crazy.
Then the LORD reminded me that my FISH had come. The name of the project is “Shark Tank”. Is that funny or what. God brought me my fish.
It’s been a couple of weeks, and I dont have the deal yet, but I started working on it anyway. They had a very short window to get to market, so I started the work believing that the LORD has given me my fish.
