I am reminded of when Kurt and I kept running into transparent butterflies. It ended with Johnny Enlow talking about the angels that God was releasing to guard the prophets of the LORD – at the time they were eagletts, according to Johnny.
That has been 10 years or so. So, this “818” thing starts showing up. The LORD used butterflies as the connection to the new thing He was doing in my life. A butterfly is very much a new beginning, hence the number 8.
But, I have also been hearing and praying into the release of the angelic this season. I camp out on 2 Kings where Elisha saw the mountain of the chariots of fire and prayed that God would open Gehazi’s eyes. I want that!
I believe that the two are connected. With the new thing that God is doing, there is a release of the angelic. They are here to guard me as God releases me. And, the room that I am in at my parent’s has butterflies hanging on the walls.
