Lesson 10
Receive God’s Impartation
In the past nine lessons, I have shared some of things that God has been
doing in my own life and in the lives of others. I have shared how He has
revived people who were tired, disillusioned, worn-out, discouraged. God
turned their lives around and give them joy and a fresh impartation.
suddenly, they found themselves in closer and deeper relationship with
God than ever before, their hearts set on fire a fresh. And they found
that their lives had been turned around, and the power of God flowing
through them. Now they are able to do the impossible with God, to do the
things that Jesus did. The found that when they prayed for the sick, the
sick got healed. They found they had authority over demons. They found that
when the believed God for miracles, miracles happened.
They suddenly found themselves highly effective as a witnesses for God, full
of His joy and power and authority. That is what God has been doing in
people’s lives through this revival and through the impartations that He
has been releasing into His church.
I believe God is going to do the same thing to you. Are you hungry for
it?
The reason why I took time tell you the story of John and Barbara is because
I want you to know that often the people who get touched are the ones who
have been crying out to God, praying asking God, hungry for God. The hunger,
the desire in their heart draws on the anointing. God touched John and
Barbara and missed a couple of my deacons. He missed the chairman of the
deacon board. One time someone pointed that out to me, just incase I had
somehow missed it. I said, “I know He did.” They asked, “Well if it’s God,
why did He do that?” I said, “I don’t know. I’ll ask Him.” So I went and
I prayed, “God why did You do it that way? God why did You touch Barbara
and John, who were half-backslidden, and You missed the chairman of the
deacons.” And as clear as day the Holy Spirit said “Randy, what’s the
Greek word for gifts?” I said “Charismata, from which we get the word
charismatic.” And He said, “What’s the root word of that?” “Kairos.”
“What’s it mean?” “Grace.” And God said, “Randy, I did it on purpose
because they were the exceptions, not the rule. But if I know you human
beings and if I only touched the hungry, the desperate, the saintly ones
who have been fasting and praying and hungry, desperate, asking for more.
If I only touched them and I didn’t touch someone that was a little bit
of a backslider, you guys would turn My ‘charismata’ into ‘worksimata’ and
you’d think you had earned it. You would not be aware that it is all by
My grace. So these people are My examples, My poster children, that this
is grace based.”
If you are hungry for God’s touch right now, that is God’s grace at work
in your life. The flesh does not desire the things of the Spirit. It is
the Spirit that desires. If you desire something from God, it is the Holy
Spirit that put that desire in your heart. That is God’s grace already
there putting that desire in your heart.
The thing I have been trying to teach about is impartation, the transference
of gifts. Some of what God has put on my is going to be transferred from
my life to yours. In Numbers 11:17, God took that which He had put on Moses
and put it on the elders. (One of the elders wasn’t even present at the
meeting and he still got the impartation. That was a strong impartation.
God still wants to do the same thing today. Some of the strongest gifts
that He wants to transfer include gifts of healing, words of knowledge,
prophecies. Let me share a story to illustrate how the transference of
the anointing works.
Remember the guy that came to my church in 1984? I mentioned his name,
Blaine Cook. Year’s later, I moved to another city and started a church.
None of the people in my new church had been there when Blaine Cook
ministered in 1984, so I have Blaine Cook come to minister at this church.
My worship leader’s wife came up to me and said, “Oh I just love Blaine!
He is so much fun to watch. I like the way he ministers. He ministers
just like you do!”
She didn’t know that this is the man who had laid his hands on me. “She
said, “He ministers just like you do!” I smiled and said, “No, I minister
just like he does. He’s the one who laid his hands on me. I watched him
and prayed, ‘God I want what he has got’.” And God gave it to me. And if
you are hungry for this same thing, then God wants to give it to you too.
I would like to close in prayer:
Father in the Name of Jesus, I bless these people. They are Your
people. They are here before You because they are hungry and
they want more. I pray for the gift of faith to be given to them. I
pray against shame, condemnation and guilt that would make people feel
unworthy. I pray for the realization that they are in Christ and
because they are in Christ they can come boldly before Your throne of
grace in time of need.
I’m asking for angels to come. I’m asking for the Holy Spirit to fall
upon them. I’m asking that angels bless and strengthen them, like
they did Jesus in the wilderness. He became full of the Holy Spirit
but the angels came and strengthened him. In the Garden of Gethsemane,
Your word says after the prayer, “Not my will but Thine be done,” an
angel came and strengthen Him. Send angels to strengthen Your people
now.
Just as Bonnie Chavda saw all these angels come into a meeting, where
they literally strengthened the Believers. She then saw four that were
three feet taller than the others with a radiance that was brighter.
They didn’t come to bless with strength. They came to open up a scroll
that they had come from heaven with. They would declare what God said
about this person’s life. They would declare it over them. Then they
would take a stamp and stamp their forehead with a commission from God.
And Father, I know that You are going to strengthen people, but I believe
some are going to receive this commissioning from Heaven. God I pray
for sickness and disease to be destroyed in their lives. I pray, like
in Brazil where a hundred tumors disappeared, 87 blind, saw, 60 some odd
deaf heard, twenty-seven people in wheelchairs, walkers and canes and
crutches walked! God we ask for the anointing for healing to come, in
Jesus Name. We pray that some would be healed and others would receive
a special anointing for healing, that would stay with them throughout
their life. I thank You God that today I can declare that twenty years
later, John Gordon is still the most on-fire layman in all of Southern
Illinois — casting out demons, healing the sick as an engineer. We
thank You, Lord, that it is not just a fleeting thing.
Come Holy Spirit. Come. What You did in Pensacola on Father’s Day, what
You did at Yorbalinda on Mother’s Day, please do it now. Come Holy
Spirit. Come. Release impartations. We pray for some to receive the
compassion of God, the heart of God for the sick and the lost. Let
them feel Your heart of compassion. We pray for others to feel Your
power in their hands, others in their heart, others in their emotions.
We pray, Father, for Your Glory to come.
Now you be feeling God touching you. The night this happened to me, Blaine
saw it and said, “Randy, the Spirit of God is on you. Raise your hands.”
And when I did I touched the electric wire in the sky. Some of you are
feeling so much power that you are actually shaking. Some may begin to
sweat. I’ve seen people sweat when it isn’t even hot, just the heat of the
spirit. Heat is a sign of the healing anointing just like energy and
electricity. If the Spirit of God is on you in that manner, then receive
what He is imparting.
If you are aware of the presence of God on you so strong that it is causing
you to tremble, cry, or feel heavy or very hot, then receive what God is
placing upon you. God is the God of impartation. God imparted what I
carry into me through others. And He desires to take a piece of that and
put it on you as well. Open your heart and open your spirit and receive
what He has for you right now.
