I couldnt say it any better myself.
It is my prayer all summed up.
We sin. We fall short. We cannot atone for it. Jesus did that. Grace. Mercy.
As a servant, we obey.
Self will is sin.
David leans on God’s mercy for his forgiveness before asking the LORD to thump his enemies.
Sin lets the devil in. Submit to God. Resist the devil. And, he will flee from you.
Got devil problems? Check your standing with God.
Obey, resist, he flees.
More than anything right now, I need mercy. I need grace.
I need the help and power of Holy Spirit.
I ask God to help. In drinking for example. I hardly drink. But, on occasion, I do drink.
I believe that God wants no drinking. But, i prefer my will to His, if that holds true.
Rebellion = self will = witchcraft.
I need mercy.
I need grace.
It is true of all people. Our country is a mess today.
We all need mercy. Do not give us, LORD, what we deserve.
We need grace. Give us Your power to do Your will completely without reservation.
