John, Jen and Jordan, as I was seeking the Lord for you this week, the Lord led me in praying for His spirit of wise council over the three of you – that He would give you favor and open ears of man and, like Hushai in 2nd Samuel, that He would frustrate the advice of the enemy and cause yours to be heard and heeded. As I was praying, He showed me an image of someone mowing the weeds down on an overgrown lawn. I knew the weeds represented the enemy, and I said, “Lord, weeds grow back.” I sensed Him say, “They need to use some weed killer.” When I asked Him what you’re supposed to use as weed killer, I sensed Him saying your ‘poison’ against the enemy is to be so rooted in His Word that His spirit is then able to well those Words up within you at the proper time, and it’s by His Word IN you that His spirit of wise council will lead you. He led me to the following scripture for you:
2 Samuel 15:31 NIV
“Now David had been told, “Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom.” So David prayed, “Lord, turn Ahithophel’s counsel into foolishness.””
2 Samuel 17:14 NIV
“Absalom and all the men of Israel said, “The advice of Hushai the Arkite is better than that of Ahithophel.” For the Lord had determined to frustrate the good advice of Ahithophel in order to bring disaster on Absalom.”

John, Jen and Jordan, as I was seeking the Lord for you this week, he showed me an image of the three of you standing in a circle holding hands in solidarity. He brought to mind this verse for you:
Ecclesiastes 4:12 NIV
“Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”
As I sought him about this, I got the impression that, though you all operate individually, he wants you to also operate as a team, coming together to pray for one another, and strategize and agree as a group regarding how to go about the things that come up in the workplace.
John, Jen and Jordan, as I was lifting you up this week, the Lord brought to mind the cogs inside of a watch. Inside the watch there is a cog, called the balance wheel, which allows the watch to keep accurate time. When the watch is wound, it is completely full of energy and, if left unchecked (without the balance wheel), all of it would be expended immediately— it would “live fast”, and “die hard”. However, this is where the balance wheel comes in. The balance wheel ensures that the energy is distributed over time. It does this by catching prongs on the escape wheel and stopping it from moving forward for one second, and then lets it go (see short reference video for visual below). As I was seeking the Lord about what he was showing me, I got the impression that the cogs were two personalities working together – one who is the type who wants to “Go! Go! Go!”, and the other is the balance to the first one. In other words, the second one proceeds with caution, moves with purpose, gives careful thought, and strategized through different potential scenarios. I sensed the Lord was saying that, as different (and almost opposite) as these types seem, they were created by his design to mesh perfectly together and balance each other out, working together in perfect unity. I also sensed him expressing that his timing is perfect, and he will lead you in stopping (when you need to wait) and releasing you (when it’s time to move forward). I felt him saying that momentum is not lost in the stopping, because the momentum is temporarily restrained, but once it is released to move, it SPRINGS forward.

John, Jen and Jordan, as I was seeking the Lord for you this week, he showed me a snow globe. It had been shaken and wound up (it was the kind that plays music as well). As I was asking the Lord about what he was showing me, I got the impression of stress – stress from people and/or situations around you which ‘shake’ you. He pointed out that, when the snow globe has been shaken, it causes a storm inside which makes things unclear to see. I sense these represent the thoughts and emotions which arise in times of stress and can cloud thoughts and judgements. He also highlighted to me how sometimes we get ‘wound up’ by people or situations as well. I perceive he is saying that this principle applies to any kind of stress, but in this example it is specific to people – because it is a person who has to shake a snow globe. I believe the Lord is expressing that, as you process the stress of people and situations around you, which ‘shake’ you or get you riled up, you are able to surrender it to and walk through it with him, and when you do that (just as the snow settles in the globe and you’re able to see what’s inside) the clouds in your mind give way to peace and clarity. I felt him expressing that, just as the tension released in the snow globe results in beautiful music others can hear, when you respond well to these stresses, the ‘good fruit’ of how you’re handling them serves as a testimony to those around you that something about you is different, and he is glorified because of it.

As I prayed for the three of you this week, I had spoken to Vicki about the primary things you were dealing with/needed assistance with. The more I interceded, the more the Lord had me focusing on the land; and in this prayer time, I could not move to another subject. I heard Him say, “Land is very important in the Kingdom. Of course I created it, but it was designed for man’s enjoyment, his home, his livelihood, the place of pro-procreating, and the triumph of good over evil. In the beginning, Cain killed Abel, and Abel’s blood cried out from the ‘ground.’ When I set the Israelites free from Egypt, I gave them Myself, and then the Promise of a Land which would be theirs forever. You are positioned in a land where witchcraft ruled for centuries (in part this happened under the Native American tribes). The land was full of battles, and innocent blood was shed. There were sacrifices and dedications to other gods, and the land demands to be cleansed. You are all in a business which involves the land – and this is not by chance. You will find blessings beyond measure every time you break the curses over the land and usher in My Presence. Walk the lands. Pray over them. Ask for revelation. Anoint the properties, and consecrate the ground in the name of Your Savior Christ. You have access, because you have authority, and you have authority because you have taken the gifts I gave you and grown them. You were drawn to real estate, because it is the place where your gifts have CALLED you. The blood of the innocents are demanding their Savior to redeem them.”
This week as I prayed for all of you, the Lord reminded me of a story I had read about a local CEO. He was a brilliant mind, but he always seemed to place the wrong people around him, resulting in some catastrophic decisions which worked against him in the business world. He seemed to be taking a few steps forward, but even more backward. I heard the Lord say, “There are Kingdom principles which apply to the physical world, as well as the spiritual one. However, there are foundational principles, which are spiritual in nature, and can only be received by the Spirit you carry once you make My Son Lord over your lives. Your foundation is the Rock, which is My Son, and then the pillars, which keep you grounded and allow you to accelerate, and are the ones you should seek and ask for increase. They are knowledge, understanding, wisdom, and discernment. This is about discernment, which gives you the abilities to know light from dark, good from evil, and truth from lies. It is the basis for those people you allow in your inner spaces. Be kind to all, but only bring those who are like-minded into those places of sharing and confidence, especially when it comes to business dealings and interpersonal relationships. Pray into this, receive confirmation(s) from Me, and be led of My Spirit.”

Today while in prayer for all of you, I heard the term “floodplains.” As you are aware, if someone wants to purchasing land that is in a floodplain, there are many things which must be considered, including environmental regulations, building requirements, septic tank rules, FEMA, and any local laws specifically guarding and protecting those lands. I heard the Lord say, “Floodplains are extremely healthy. They deposit minerals and nutrients into the soil when flooding occurs. They become the wetlands of your country, and they are rich land for farming certain crops (as the regulations allow). However, they can be a disaster if you do not follow the rules that are in place surrounding them. Your family is called to LAND. It is the place of your blessings, and it is the place where you will have authority, but for that to happen, you must understand that this is a spiritual gift as well as a physical one. You must first ‘take’ the land spiritually, and that is done by cleansing it while releasing My Presence upon it. This is not a small thing. In the interim, the adversary also understands the significance of your calling. He is the one who is bringing the pushbacks, which must be overcome. The pushbacks will come to you in a variety of forms, but they will be like the regulations which must be circumvented to own and make use of a floodplain. The blessing(s) are in plain sight, but you must search your hearts, surrender them to Me, and allow Me to lead you through anything that would keep you from possessing the very thing that will bless you and enlarge the Kingdom. Remember that every calling from Me is always wrapped in how you will utilize your authority to push back the darkness.”
Jen, John and Jordan, this week while in prayer for you, I was shown giants in the land. I heard the Lord say, “I purposed, before time, that the Israelites would be My People. I hand-picked the land I was giving them. I did not make them occupy an empty land where a lot of work would have to be done before the blessings arrived. No, I gave them a land where the fruit was so large, it took two men to carry it. Every adult who left Egypt was not allowed to enter because of their fear, unbelief, and lack of trust in Me. The Promised Land was theirs for the taking, but they would have to overcome the ‘GIANTS’ in the land. You must utilize the power of your voice, with My words of promise, and bind and loose the very strongholds you are facing. The entities giving you the resistance are your giants, and you must ‘resist them in order for them to flee.’ The ‘deals’ are your promised land. The high places must be recaptured and this will only happen as you exert the authority you have over them. Your callings contain your authority. You are called to this area, and to the land. The enemy wants to discourage you to the point you believe that you are in the ‘wrong place at the wrong time, doing the wrong thing.’ I have not told you to pack up and move on, so those thoughts are not coming from Me, and it is certainly not Me bringing the disappointment(s).”

While in prayer this week for you, the Lord led me to re-read the battle of Jericho. I heard Him say, “In order to enter the land of Promise, the first thing which had to happen was the faith of the priests. I told them to take the Ark and step into the Jordan River (at flood stage). It took that step, into the unknown of a flooded river, for Me to part the waters, so that all of the people could cross the river on A DRY RIVERBED. Then Joshua sent spies into Jericho. Those spies not only gathered intel, but they found Rahab (the prostitute who was spared because of her faith, who would be part of the linage of My Son). Finally, the people had to march around the city for 6 days in silence, and then the over 12 feet high and 6 feet thick walls would fall (straight outwards) giving the people the victory as they marched and yelled on the 7th day. The point of the story is that I am asking all of you to step into the destiny you were created to fulfill. The ‘giants’ in the land may appear to be daunting, or the tasks unattainable. However, I assure you that nothing is impossible when you trust the One who is the Power Source of the Universe. In the case of Joshua and the Israelites, it required faith, and then obedience. The same applies today. Trust Me on this. Agree in prayer. Pray in faith, believing for the outcome that I tell you is your answer. Resist the darkness and your adversary will flee. That happens when you release LIGHT – this occurs when you speak My word out loud, with your voice, into the atmosphere.”

Several times this past week, as I’ve prayed for the 3 of you, the Lord has shown me a white quill pen. It writes in the air, without anyone holding it, but what is written is invisible. The impression I had was that it is not time, yet, for what is being written to be revealed. The key is that it is currently being written, even though it is not visible yet. It’s not a secret – God just can’t release it yet (something has to take place or be orchestrated first). I sensed He definitely will show you when the time is right.
As I’ve continued praying for the three of you and your business, I keep hearing, “Push through!” and “Go for it!” Fear is holding you back – fear of loss, fear of the unknown, fear of…. The Lord is letting you know that the victory comes in pushing through any fear. You are “come back” [His words] kind of fighters – which means you can come from behind because you don’t give up (and eventually you won’t back down). This is what you will need to have victory over the land God wants you to have victory over. This is a very big undertaking, but He didn’t leave any of you underequipped. He prepared each of you for this fight. Stand on His truth and increase in your ability to fight the enemy – the enemy doesn’t have authority over you, or what God has given to you, or what God wants to give to you. Take what God tells you to take, and move forward one step at a time. Set your sites on the God Almighty, and on victory, and don’t back down. (And if you do back down, know that you have the ability to make that “backing down” temporary – stay in the fight and push through!)
