Word from Nate on the kids

God is really trying to teach me about loving my kids and not controlling them. I can do all that I can do. I cannot make them desire the LORD. So, I am entering into the press that He will invade their worlds. I pray that He give them their own personal encounter and light their hearts on fire.

I will simply love them the best that I can.

From Nate:

Sometimes we feel like the attacks of the enemy are constant, like they are wearing us down and keep coming, and are persistent. Like water that wears away the rock. Even though it feels this way, the enemy does not have patience. You are to be the same and more towards your enemy. Whether he gets blasted or worn down, John Stein is an overcomer. The enemy does not happen to you, you happen to him. By faith and patience you will have all of Gods promises. Some more faith, some more patience, but they don’t all manifest the same. What about the meantime? Enjoy the meantime because you know the battle is already yours. Joy and confidence in the Lord is by itself effective warfare. God says you are a rock, from the rock of Christ, and you will not be moved. The most important thing your children can inherit is not perfect parenting and behavior, it is a heart that is fully aware of a good and loving God.
