Dream: Football

I was covering Pat Jarvis, who was running passing routes at UGA. The coach was throwing all of these passes. Then, Larry White ran passes, and I covered him. Now, Larry was a lineman – bizarre.

The coach asked me who I was, and I told him. I told him that I stopped playing football my freshman year. I meant high school, but he may have thought I meant college. I was a junior in college during the dream.

Then, I was running late to go to high school football practice. I moved back in time. We were at home, and I had no car. So, I took Bobby and Brandi Lane’s Volvo. But, Dooley (my brother in CO’s dog) was in the back. Bobby and Brandi now owned Dooley, and it was too hot to keep Dooley in the car during practice. So, I drove to Bobby and Brandi’s to let them know that I had their car and to let Dooley out at their house. I was concerned about being late to practice.

I drove by the practice fields and saw that I was not yet running late. There was part of the team out on the field, but most of them were not yet dressed out. There were other teams scattered on the field as well. I was concerned still to be running late. I got to Bobby and Brandi’s to let Dooley in.

I remember getting the keys out from under the floor mat to start the engine.
