Last night, as Jack and I were coming back from the hockey game, I started talking to jack about his own prophetic anointing. It seems that the bible has it over and over – a dad passes his “stuff” to his son. Well, Jack has started hearing God lately. He knows it too. So, I used that to speak about prophecy to Jack. He gets it. Amazing kid.
Today, we go see I am Legend with Will Smith. The movie is dark and is about a plague that hits the world where 5.5 billion die. Will’s character is a scientist who can come up with the cure. He is met by a woman who said that God told her to go to VT and that He had a plan. She wanted Will to go and believed their connection to be of God. Will didnt even believe in God. There was a tie to Will’s daughter’s butterfly hand gesture and a moment where Will hears God himself and sees the tatoo of a butterfly on the woman’s neck. It is confirmation that he heard from God.
I pointed Jack to that and said “there it is”! He got it completely.
I got a big message too. The judgment that I see on America is real. This movie is just that. Man O Man. 12 million folks survived. That’s the remnant talked about in Ezekiel 6 & 7.
This is real stuff, and I beleive we will see our country in a cataclysmic mess soon. I dont know when, but the LORD has judged a nation.
