Peter and the Cup

I see Peter drinking from a coffee cup. In his cup are five rainbows. They twirl around inside the cup and drape over its edge.

Every time that Peter drink from his cup, the rainbows come closer to him.

When he sets his cup down, they spread out.

“The promises of God – all five represented here – are closer than you and fulfillment when you drink the cup of God. Jesus drank His cup and would not let it pass because of His commitment to the will of the Father. So shall your commitment be.”

I asked the LORD about the promises and believe that they include:

1) Life – Peter’s own

2) Family – Peter’s heart’s desire for his family

3) Purpose – for both the magnitude and fulfillment of Peter’s purpose and destiny

4) The church – for its own fulfillment

5) Intimacy – for the continued increase that Peter keeps crying out for
