2Sam 24… It costs something. Fire falls on sacrifice. The king’s sin released a plague on the land. It cost him something to remedy that. Firewood isn’t free. Can’t have sacrifice (burnt offering) without the wood. It’s gonna cost us to remedy the coming storm and heal our land.
