2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.
I am facing “various” or “many”, as other translations put it, trials. And, it is so easy to get bogged down in it. But, it is JOY. JOY, I say. It sucks at times, but it is all joy. God is perfecting me. He is building patience in me. And, I will be lacking NOTHING.
Life in general is not all that great. The trials are hard. They seem never ending, everlasting in biblical terms. But, I know that they are for a season. I know that the LORD will bring me into a new song. I have no idea what it looks like. But, bless God, it will be awesome. Give me the grace, Father, to enter into Your very best and number one plan for me.
