There is a huge crane that lifts up over the Grand Canyon. I have a metal jacket on and am stuck to the magnet that goes where the hook normally would be. It has me by the back so that I am face down towards earth. The crane is on wheels like a train track, except there is no track, and it is in the sky. It carries me over the canyon. I can see all the wild life below – down to the bugs and scorpions and snakes wiggling around.
I see vultures and coyotes. I also see a polar bear. He is wandering around looking for a door to go through to get back to the cold North Pole. The crane drops me into the Colorado river where I float downstream until I dump out in the ocean. But, I am now at the tropical islands – Hawaii-like islands. I float on a blow-up raft. My house is on one of the islands. I have my own beach front. A thunderstorm brews off in the distance. Dolphins swim around me. so do sharks. Jesus is on the shore cooking fish and drinking a pina colada. He has a green lei around His neck.
There is a season of rest coming my way. Yes, the storms will still be out there. Yes, the sharks will still be out there. But, the rest is coming after this period of desert walking, rough rides on the river, odd and bizarre things to a final resting place of peace with Jesus.
