I was riding in a van with Fleetwood Mac.
I made the comment that some bands are timeless and that they were one of them and thanked them for it.
Mick Fleetwood asked me why I thought that. I told him that their songs stand the test of time – they are timeless and as good today as back then. A few bands are like that, and I named two.
He thanked me. I then pulled out the pocket watch that Rick Mann gave me. Mick asked to see it and had me take it apart. He then made some adjustments to it and fixed something about the watch. He gave it back to me.
I then looked over at his son, who was with us, and I gave him the watch.
