Last night was Jenny’s birthday. We went to a brewery after Siler’s cross country race.
I kept thinking that it was ok to have a beer. Now this is a sensitive subject because I absolutely do NOT want to be disobedient to the LORD. I have had times where it was ok and other times when it wasnt. Is it now ok?
Well, we went over to Mike and Jenny’s house to do a little celebration. I decided to grab a six pack and have a few beers. It tasted great.
Waking up today, I dont feel convicted. But, I want to stay true to God’s desires.
I ask for conviction if not ok. My intent is not to drink. I like the rare occasions – like family celebrations, camping with jack or fishing with jordan. Maybe a glass of wine with laura.
God, please direct me.
