The water drains out of the bathtub. A rubber ducky spirals around as the last of the water goes down the drain.
Then, the baby is put in the tub to bathe. She plays in the water as if there were water, not understanding that there is none.
She rejoices in her activities, but it is futile. For, without the water, one remains unclean.
