This am, I asked the LORD to encourage me. I havent felt real close to Him the last several days. Well, at church this morning, He nuked me as they played a Hillsong song. Then this evening, I got this email from John Spiknall. We have such a cool God.
Hey John,
Its been a while, but I hope you’re blessed. I’m sure you’re bringing the kingdom to earth. You were on my mind during worship this morning. I wanted to encourage you with Jer 29 that The Lord has plans for you- plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. That just kept coming to me.
I was also thinking about your last email(s) about not seeing so many results when you pray for people. I’m 0 for 3 on the last 10 days or so, but Patrick West has a great story and had some breakthrough last week. I know John Wimber & bill Johnson both prayed for people for a long time (years) before they saw anything. This morning Scot Thompson shared a testimony of being back in California last week, and he got to see two people get instantly healed who he had prayed for many years. I guess I’m just saying to keep your head up. You’re one of God’s beloved sons in whom He is well pleased. Hope all’s well, and I look forward to hearing from you.
