Father is so good. This fast has been an amazing period of revelation, cleansing and healing. I know that He is working out the pride in me.
Maturity in gifting says that my giftedness is used for the edification of the body and those outside the body and my myself. Prophecy will be most effective when used to show God’s love and truth to His children. It will be most ineffective when used for my own benefit.
This allows interdependence and increases reliance of the parts of the body upon other parts of the body. We are built for interdependence.
God has maximum opportunity to work through others to His greatest glory and impact.
Pride keeps us from seeing that and focuses our attention on ourselves. I am prophetic, therefore, I hear God and don’t need anyone telling me what to do. God will tell me.
The body ceases to function and loses its effectiveness.
God works through His body – each part serving the others.
I am dependent upon others for God to communicate to me (although He will speak directly to me when necessary) and to help me reach all that God has for me.
