Ferris Wheel

I am on a ferris wheel at night overlooking Boulder. The ferris wheel faces west and every time we get tot he top, I see over the Rockies and towards California. There are a great many coming hard from the west to attack. But, they carry weapons from generations long ago. The fury is in their eyes, but they impact is nill. They yell and scream and make like they can do something horrible, but it’s all noise.

In an instant, I walk over to the control panel and push the red button. A brilliant light comes down through a portal in the skies and, like a laser, obliterates the charging enemy. Millions are nuked. those that remain scatter everywhere.

No weapon formed against us shall prosper.
