Here are common characteristics that I see regarding joy:
- Singing and worship to the LORD
- Abundance and prosperity as poured out by the LORD
- Established work by the LORD
- The PRESENCE of God
- Victory over your enemies
- Feasting NOT Fasting
- Established place to abide
- Righteousness
- Miracles and God moving
- Holy Spirit
Deuteronomy 16:15
“Seven days you shall celebrate a feast to the LORD your God in the place which the LORD chooses, because the LORD your God will bless you in all your produce and in all the work of your hands, so that you will be altogether joyful.
John 16:24
” Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full.
Matthew 25:21
“His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful slave You were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter into the joy of your master.’
Ezra 6:16
And the sons of Israel, the priests, the Levites and the rest of the exiles, celebrated the dedication of this house of God with joy.
2 Chronicles 30:21
