We never made it to the summit.
From Phil today. Awesome word:
John:
“Don’t dismiss the small things.”
This is what I’ve been hearing from the Lord. What we did yesterday was significant – “if a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound?’ You’ve heard people ask this “philosophical” question, I’m sure.
If a man blows a shofar from a high place and few humans hear it, does it make a sound?
We were obedient to what the Lord placed on your heart.
Rosh Hoshana is based in Leviticus 23:23-25:
23 Again the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 24 “Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘In the seventh month on the first of the month you shall have a rest, a reminder by blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation. 25 You shall not do any laborious work, but you shall present an offering by fire to the Lord.’”
We presented an “offering by fire” – the fire in our hearts for revival and a release of the Holy Spirit over the front range.
Yesterday was significant – the Lord and His angels heard the Shofar – so did the evil realm.
We put a stake in the ground yesterday…
