I see an an oak tree in a valley surrounded by mountains. It sits majestically with grass growing up all around. There is a rubber band tied to me that stretches out into the LORD’s hand. He pulls the rubber band so taht it is tight, but it does not break. It pulls the tree in His direction, ever so slightly.
I see the birds of the land fly to the rubber band and sit on it. It gives them rest for they have been traveling great distances.
“You are the oak”, He says to me. “The more that I stretch that which I have put in you, the more you can give rest to my children. You give them shade. You give them security. You give them peace.”
I see that the more birds that land on the rubber band, the deeper the roots go to anchor the tree. The deeper the roots, the farther out the branches, and more leaves grow. This gives the tree a greater footprint and shadow. The leaves are for healing the nations, and even their shadows bring healing. He covers the land.
