We have been working with Phil Mydlach, a dude in WI. He is a believer and has had some really bad experiences with digital marketers. Jonathan was working with him but has decided not to any longer. My interactions with Phil have me believing that he is double-minded.
Well, I think that the LORD is using this to teach me about humility.
We ask for wisdom. God gives it generously. And, He often gives it in the form of a person.
If we are proud and think we know more than they do, we miss out on the grace needed to succeed. God will send those who may not be as mature, equipped, smart, sexy, knowledgable, etc. to do the work. But,, He gives them grace – His POWER to do the work.
If we are humble, we see His help manifest. If we embrace them, we get access to the power to do the job. Grace is released. Results are supernatural.
If we think we know more (knowledge puffs up), we are resisted by God Himself because He resists the proud.
But, He gives grace to the humble. Grace can come in the form of a person. This happened with the Pharisees and Jesus. Jesus is and was grace personified. The religious know-it-alls thought that they had it all going on and completely missed the grace for salvation.
If God is resisting you, your results will be zero or less.
God makes us dependent upon each other.. It doesnt matter how talented, esteemed, wise, gifted or anything else you are. Be humble, and let Him give you grace/power to get the job done.
You never know who might be the one He sends it in.
