I have felt in my spirit for weeks a check every time Lane Jones (pastor at Brownsbridge Church) tells people not touch hands because of sickness. So, I sent him an email after weeks of deliberation.
Here is his response. I didnt expect much else, but I was surprised at a defensiveness. It is easy to tell when someone is not responding in the spirit.
Let’s see what God does about this.

Thank you for your encouragement and I did take your words as encouragement. However, we obviously see these scriptures differently and I will continue to encourage people to exercise wisdom in all areas of their lives including their health.

Hey Lane,
Thank you for shepherding the flock at Brownsbridge. It is great to see all the people coming to the LORD and how well the entire set of campuses steward the office of the evangelist. I celebrate this with you, as one who attends.
But, I have this for you.
Just about every week when you do the announcements, you tell everyone not to shake hands or touch each other because of the flu season.
Did you know that you are making a prophetic declaration over your flock that violates the word of God? It is not my aim to create a bible war, but it is very clear in Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24 and Psalm 103 2-3, that God has already healed us of all infirmities, maladies, sickness, disease and the like. When the covering stands over the flock and proclaims the word of God to be untrue, it is opening the door for the very thing that he is trying to avoid to come in. The covering is removed.
This word also releases the spirit of fear over the house.
So, I exhort you to please stop making this declaration and start releasing life. If anything, make the declaration that sickness has no place in the house of God or the body of Christ, for that is certainly what the atonement provided. I see people healed every day of amazing things. Jesus is very much healing people today just as He did 2,000 years ago.
I am happy to meet with you on this subject, if you want.
Also, I trust that if this word is of the LORD, He has already started speaking to you about it or will soon confirm what I have written to be from Him.
I bless you and encourage you to keep moving forward. For you are an oak and, and your leaves are for healing the nations.
