I emailed Shawn on the call to ministry and where to begin. Here is his response:
Hi John, I think starting out asking God who you are called to. Fall in love with them and build with a ministry who is reaching them or start one.you won’t have endurance unless you have “a joy set before you.” Jesus is our model in that He died for His love for us and you are going to have to tap into His heart or you will just do a career in ministry instead of a commissioned ministry. There is no practical way in but there are great ministries to partner to or get involved with.
