I see Grant and his family walking a path. And, it comes to a fork. There are two ways to go.
The higher road has thorn bushes with snakes hanging in the them. The hike is steep – uphill.
The lower road has cobble stones and loose impediments. Traction is not all that great. But, the hike is relatively flat.
On the other side of the thorn bushes stands a nurse. She takes care of the wounds. Beyond her, Jesus is playing with some kids, and the top of the hill shows amazing views.
The trail back down leads to the same place as the second path. The end destination is the same.
But, what appears to be a path full of adversity and not of God may actually be filled with Jesus. Do not let first impressions fool you.
