My Father blesses me richly – even with snowboards.
I have been seeking out a new snowboard. I got my old one for $50 at a bargain sale at Sports Authority. It’s a great board, but it is old technology. I want something new, and I wanted to spend my Christmas money on me instead of food.
I got this Never Summer Proto CTX 2013 board for $250. It retails for $550. 
It was all a lesson in humility. I saw the board for $425 and texted the guy to see if he would take 225. He told me that it was an insult. I apologized. I didnt want to offend or insult.
He texted me back the next day saying that he would take 300 and just had to get rid of it.
I thanked him and said that the offer was generous. I told him that I could do 240.
I gave up and started looking elsewhere when he said that it was too low. Yesterday, he texts me that he just has to get rid of it and will take 250.
I said fine. The board is just about brand new. It is amazing. Jack loved it.
